Question: Hi how long once i have decleared bankrupcy can i start to rebuild my credit history also can i hold a bank account and what does bankrupcy cover does it cover everything i owe or certain things many thanks kelly

Answer:  You are bankrupt usually for a period fo 12 months, once discharged you can go about the process fo re-building your credit. 

You are allowed a basic account whilst bankrupt and all your unsecured debts are placed in the bankruptcy.
