I was wondering if anyone could help, i am going bankrupt in a couple of weeks and just have some questions, firstly i used to live at my in laws and moved out about a year and a half ago and let all my credit cards know my new address but never got round to changing two of my bills only owe a small amount and was just going to pay them off and close the accounts down, will i get in trouble for not changing them to my new address, also my car was scrapped in Jan 09 and since then i have been a named driver on my wifes insurance but the car belongs to her dad will they take the car as we are driving it? any help would be great many thanks

I assume you took sound advice before deciding upon bankruptcy.

If the car is owned by somebody else it will not be involved.
It is probably a condition of lenders that you keep them informed of address changes but I dont suppose it would matter if you tell them now, so do so now to avoid confusion when the OR communicates with all creditors.
