Bailiffs

Hi
I thought this might be of use.

Default Re: Can Bailiffs Take My Partner Possessions?
A bailiff can ONLY take goods belonging to the person named on the warrant.

Always remember though that BEFORE a bailiff has levied upon goods, ie: entered your home and listed goods on a Walking Possession then you or your partner etc can sell, give away, transfer or even hide any items.

Due to the severe impact of the credit crunch it is now very common indeed for people to swear a Statutory Declaration conforming ownership of goods within a property or even business. This is the most simple of documents to complete and requires being witnessed by a Solicitor. The normal solicitor fee is just £5 !!!

A very useful document indeed.
