I have just received my certificate to say I have been given my discharge after 7 months, What does this mean? What difference does it make?

You are no longer subject to the restrictions and obligations you had listed on the form NTB2 they sent you shortly after your bankruptcy; restrictions like not being able to obtain credit of £500 or more unless you inform the creditor you are bankrupt, and obligations like having to tell the Official Receiver if you moved.

Does this now mean I do not have to volunteer the information that I am bankrupt when applying for any form of credit unless specifically asked(not that i'm looking to apply for any form of credit after the hell i've been through!)?

You aren't bankrupt, so you only need to say something if they ask if you ever have been bankrupt in the past.
