I started an IVA back in March 06 and managed to come out of it in September 07. I feel that life hasn't moved on for me in so far that that nothing has changed.
I still have a poor credit rateing despite my IVA supervisor telling me otherwise.
I had to get a subprime mortgage inorder to pay off my IVA again despite My IVA Supervisor, telling me i could go to my exsisting company to obtain funds.
I'm also now finding out that some companies/creditor's are refusing to remove my credit data from Experian and Equarfax, as they only received a partial payment, albeit they agreed to the settlement.
And I'm now being told by my IVA company that some companies are now doing this. and are still updating my credit file each month either with late payments ot defaults. or partial payment.
So whilst the telephone and the letters have stopped there are still things going on in the background that no one can stop or indeed wants to stop,or help with.
Also I feel that the amount of money being charged by my IVA Companie, Mine was in the region of £95:00 per hour I would like to think they would have had this information to hand. or indeed have given me the advice as to the best way forward,
As I now feel that even having settled my IVA it will still be hard for me to get back on track as i I'm still having to live with restrictions, like not even having a proper bank accout
So despite being able to clear the IVA I'm not really any further forward. and the IVA Company do not return my phone calls even after speaking with a member of the team from My Vesta, who told me they would.!!!
If anyone has any suggestions on how i can move this forward or indeed have experienced the same issue's I would love to know how you got over it.
Many thanks
Steve
