My friend is also in an IVA and for the last few weeks has been living apart from her husband they have now decided to split up. The IVA is in her name only although they do use his income as well. She doesn't know what to do.
I know you will say speak to her IP but she is with Debt Free Direct and finds them very unhelpful.
She is 2 years into her agreement.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

If your friend has a problem with her IP send an e.mail to http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/ and they will give your friend the name and address for where she has to complain about her IP.

I am in the same process that my IP has now refused to talk to me as i questioned his remarks to my family if i stopped making payments to his Company.

My IP has stated in his contract that he can keep one years money if my IVA Fails and i go BR, i find this hard to take and to be honest he never had my best interests at heart, i have never met anyone from his office all my IVA was done over the telephone.
